Planning and development control

This page is dedicated to key planning applications for the Bourne such as buildings and masts. The Association checks all planning applications on a weekly basis. We respond where:

• there is significant interest from local residents
• plans would adversely affect the rurality of the Bourne
• development would be out of proportion or sympathy with the area

We also keep an eye on developments to ensure they are carried out in line with their planning permission. If you have concerns about a current application or implementation of a development please let us know.

The proposed development of the Toyota Site

Priory Land have again been unsuccessful in their appeal. We will continue to monitor this site.                                            

Phone masts

The Residents' Association's policy on mobile phone masts includes:

• actively supporting and promoting the protection of local schools and nurseries from proposals to site masts in their vicinities

• supporting collective action against mast sitings

 In accordance with our constitution we as an Association will continue to oppose any further planning proposals for masts in the Bourne.
